Registration and Prices for After-School Care
Admission Criteria
- Employment of the legal guardians, at least 20 hours from Monday to Friday (Exceptions can be made for certain special cases.)
- Primary residence of the legal guardians and the child to be enrolled in Schwechat.
Online Registration
Registrations for the next school year (2026/27) will take place online from 3 to 23 November 2025. Please fill out this online form..
Attention: The needs assessment on the school registration does not serve as a registration for the after-school care program!

If the primary residence is not yet in Schwechat, please provide a copy of the rental or purchase agreement for the apartment or house to demonstrate your intention to move.

Opening Hours
All city after-school care programs are open from Monday to Friday from the end of classes until 6:00 PM.
The holiday periods, as well as November 15th (Saint Leopold) and November 2nd (All Souls' Day), follow the official school holidays. During the summer holidays, a holiday care program is offered for the first three weeks after the end of the school year and before the start of the new school year. In addition, an institution-wide holiday care program is available during the Christmas, semester break, Easter, and the middle three weeks of the summer holidays if there is sufficient demand.

- Until 2:00 PM: € 70.00
Until 4:00 PM: € 88.00
Until 5:00 PM: € 94.00
Until 6:00 PM: € 101.00
Contribution for play and activity materials: € 9.00
Daily meal cost: € 5.09
You can apply for a reduction in the maintenance contributionthrough the NÖ Landesregierung office. Application forms are also available at the after-school care programs.
