Registration and Prices for After-School Care

Admission Criteria

Employment of the legal guardians, at least 20 hours from Monday to Friday (Exceptions can be made for certain special cases.)
Primary residence of the legal guardians and the child to be enrolled in Schwechat.

Online Registration

The registration for the next school year (2025/26) will take place exclusively online from November 4 to 17, 2024. The online form must be completed within the registration period. NO mobile phone signature or ID Austria is required. To secure a spot in a specific after-school care facility, it does not matter when the form is submitted as long as it is done within this period.

Attention: The needs assessment on the school registration does not serve as a registration for the after-school care program!

Any relevant medical reports if available
If the primary residence is not yet in Schwechat, please provide a copy of the rental or purchase agreement for the apartment or house to demonstrate your intention to move.

Open House Days

November 4th and 5th, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Does your child need a daycare place for the next school year, and would you like to get an idea of the facilities? The centers will be open for you from 3 to 5 p.m.

Opening Hours

All city after-school care programs are open from Monday to Friday from the end of classes until 6:00 PM.

The holiday periods, as well as November 15th (Saint Leopold) and November 2nd (All Souls' Day), follow the official school holidays. During the summer holidays, a holiday care program is offered for the first three weeks after the end of the school year and before the start of the new school year. In addition, an institution-wide holiday care program is available during the Christmas, semester break, Easter, and the middle three weeks of the summer holidays if there is sufficient demand.

Until 2:00 PM: € 65.00
Until 4:00 PM: € 82.00
Until 5:00 PM: € 88.00
Until 6:00 PM: € 94.00

Contribution for play and activity materials: € 8.00
Daily meal cost: € 5.09

You can apply for a reduction in the maintenance contributionthrough the NÖ Landesregierung office. Application forms are also available at the after-school care programs.
